The K-town Killer was selected among 6 short films to be showcased by United Talent Agency’s Production Arts Department as part of their first ever UTA NEXT GEN program.
“To bring attention to the filmmakers of tomorrow, UTA's Production Arts department debuted an inaugural student film showcase, called UTA NEXT GEN, in fall 2023 at the agency's Beverly Hills headquarters. The showcase broached a range of worlds and genres, from a chef’s frenetic kitchen to a horrifying family attic to the power struggles between a Korean mother, her daughter and a landlord. (The latter film, called The K-town Killer, originally premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.)”
